Hikâye; ormanda yetişen, ama insanların yaşadığı bir köyde yaşamak için hayvan arkadaşlarını geride bırakan Mowgli'nin (THE JUNGLE BOOK) adlı filmde bıraktığı yerden devam etmektedir. Bu köyde Mowgli; küçük kardeşi Ranjan ve en iyi arkadaşı, kahverengi gözlü, güzel Shanti'nin de dahil olduğu sevgi dolu ailesi ile yeni bir hayata başlar. Ama ormanda, ayı Baloo insan yavrusu olan arkadaşını çok özlemiştir ve onu görmek için köye gizlice sızar. Eski arkadaşı Baloo'yu görmenin mutluluğu ile aklı başından giden Mowgli, nereye gittiğini ailesine söylemeden ormana geri döner. Mowgli'nin kendisini Kaa isimli yılanın hipnotize edici bakışları altında ve hırslı bir maymunun fantastik müzikali eşliğinde dans ederken bulması ile heyecan başlar.
